Access Control

The Ice³ Online Collaboration has a straight-forward but powerful access control mechanism.

A simple username and password login mechanism regulated by a "Strong" password policy ensures that access is restricted to permitted individuals only.

The "Strong" password policy ensures that passwords are not easily guessed, and can only be reset by the user themselves or an Administrator.

All communications with our servers are encrypted by our 256-bit SSL certificate.

For added security, the system does not store passwords unencrypted.  In addition, individuals can only be logged into the system from one computer at any one time.

Unlike some online systems, it is not possible to access documents on the Ice³ Online Collaboration without a valid login.  Even if a person knows the address of the file, the Ice³ Online Collaboration will prevent access without authentication.
