Version III at a Glance

Building upon the functionality provided in earlier releases, Version III provides a number of key additions to the existing setup. These additions are immediately available to all users of the system.

The new features of Version III include:

• a 'My Dashboard' facility providing essential information about and links to your work;
• Advanced System-wide Search giving you direct and easy access to all your resources;
• Real-time Notifications keeping you up-to-date with changes as they happen;
• Extended Contact Profiles - see what your colleagues and contacts are doing;
• My Status - provide real-time information about your work status to all your contacts and colleagues.
  

My Dashboard Facility

The 'My Dashboard' facility sits at the heart of this update to Ice³ Online Collaboration.



Use the 'My Profile' tab to update your profile - changing your contact details, profile images, and even your password, all from one place.



Use the 'My Recent Activity' tab to view and access your recent activity upon the Ice³ system - perfect when you need to quickly return to work on a particular tasks, discussion forum, document, etc.



Use the 'My Tasks' tab to find your tasks for today and those for the next 7 days. Always know what needs to happen today!



Use the 'My Documents' tab to locate all your recently modified documents upon the system - wherever they are located.



Use the 'My Workspaces' tab to obtain direct access to all your current work spaces.

Advanced Search Facility

Your Ice³ Online Collaboration solution can quickly fill up with business-critical information and documents. Accessing this data does not have to be a problem with our new advanced search facility which allows you to carry out a system-wide search of all the resources on the website - from Diary entries to Comments upon a Forum post.



Now you will be able to find quickly the information you need.

Real-Time Notifications

Sometimes you need to keep an eye on one thing, while doing another (only sometimes?!). With the Real-Time Notification system you can keep track of all these changes as they happening.



The Real-Time Notification system will alert you immediately of changes - it checks the system every few seconds and sends you the information.



Click the notification icon to see the list of changed items, and click an item to be taken directly to its record.

Extended Contact Profiles

Find out exactly what you contacts and colleagues are doing, whether they are currently logged in, and what is their work status.

You can also access information about their tasks, recent activity, documents, and work spaces in a similar way to how you would use your own dashboard.

My Status

Finally, provide every one of your colleagues with the opportunity to know what your work status is - what you are working on, where you are, and so on with the real-time status message system. If your colleagues/contacts 'Watch' your Profile, they will be notified when your status changes and/or when you login or logout.



In conclusion, we are delighted to offer our customers this new and extended version of the Ice³ Online Collaboration system which we feel will prove an even more valuable resource.
